Two signature roof profiles

Traditional Proportions, Different Character

Classic pitched timber clock tower with clock face and weathervane
Design visualisation – Classic Pitched roof.

Classic Pitched

A restrained traditional roof with clean planes, crisp eaves and balanced proportions. It works particularly well on garages, stable blocks, barn-style buildings and contemporary rural architecture.

Heritage curved timber clock tower with multiple clock faces and traditional roof
Design visualisation – Heritage Curved roof.

Heritage Curved

A more decorative swept profile, individually formed to create a softer silhouette and stronger architectural focal point. It suits country estates, schools, hotels and landmark projects.

Roof material

Lead

The traditional premium choice. Genuine lead provides authentic character, proven weathering performance and a natural patina. Roof detailing is designed around the selected profile and transport method.

Roof material

Copper

A distinctive metal finish that gradually changes character as it weathers. Copper works particularly well on high-end contemporary and heritage-inspired commissions.

Roof material

Fibreglass

A lighter alternative with greater freedom of profile and finish. It can be useful where weight, budget or a specific appearance makes metal roofing less suitable.

Panels, Colours, Clocks and Weathervanes

Plain or Louvre Panels

Choose a clean plain panel, traditional louvres or a tailored combination. Ventilation and access requirements are considered as part of the design.

Virtually Any Colour

The two-pack epoxy system can be specified in a wide range of colours to complement windows, doors, masonry, cladding or brand identity.

Clock Packages

Clock faces, hands, mechanisms, master controls and illumination are sourced from established suppliers and specified separately for the project.

Weathervanes & Finials

Finish the tower with a restrained finial, traditional weathervane or individually commissioned design.

Questions about the range

Clock Tower FAQs

What standard clock tower sizes are available?

Our standard turret body sizes are 450 × 450 mm, 600 × 600 mm, 900 × 900 mm and 1200 × 1200 mm. Overall height depends on the selected roof profile, finial and weathervane.

What is the difference between the two roof styles?

The Classic Pitched roof has clean, traditional planes and a restrained profile. The Heritage Curved roof has a more decorative swept form. Either can be adapted to suit the proportions of the receiving building.

Which roof materials can I choose?

Roof finishes are available in genuine lead, copper or a carefully finished fibreglass option. Lead and copper provide the most authentic architectural finish; fibreglass offers lower weight and a different cost profile.

Can the side panels be louvred?

Yes. Plain and louvred side panels are available. Louvres can provide traditional appearance and ventilation, while plain panels create a cleaner architectural treatment.

Can I choose the turret colour?

Yes. Turrets can be finished in virtually any appropriate colour using our professional two-pack epoxy coating system. Colour matching is available as part of the final specification.

Need Something Outside the Standard Range?

We can adapt proportions, work from plans or develop a completely individual timber clock tower.
